Many cancer patients and their families are suffering from financial hardship since they are unable to work or have reduced their work hours due to health issues. As a result, they are incapable of covering their most basic living expenses, and need our support.
ACS has stepped in to provide grocery deliveries and nutritious cooked meals to cancer patients and their families. This eases their financial situation as well as ensures the basic nutritional and physical needs of patients and their families are met on a regular basis so that they have the strength to cope with the disease and heal.
We are thankful to the Souter Charitable Trust for supporting us in this project, and enabling us to continue providing nutritious cooked meals to cancer patients and their families.
