Through the funds raised during the Summer 2021 Big Give campaign we have been able to provide the support and stability to many children in London affected by cancer. We have delivered nutritious child-friendly cooked meals after school as well as daily activity packs and weekly special gifts which infused these children with strength and courage to carry on.
As a result of this project, families suffering from financial hardships which have exacerbated due to the cancer diagnosis, have greatly benefited. Parents have been granted the ability to properly care for their ill child since they were assured that the rest of the family is well taken care of. It has been a wonderful experience working in partnership with The Childhood Trust to provide vital support to those unfortunate children affected by cancer. This would not have been possible without their generous match funding.
