Acheinu Cancer Support is extremely grateful to Oxford & St. Georges Jewish youth trust for funding our winter holiday fun club. We provided two weeks of exciting activities for children diagnosed with cancer and their siblings, providing them with a fun and exciting get away from the hardships facing them at home. This included a magic show, biscuit decorating, arts and crafts, pottery and much more. The club has provided the children with a safe haven where they can share experiences and feelings with others facing similar challenges and gain strength from each other. Feedback from parents and children has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are seeking to continue running holiday clubs in the future as well as expand to cater for children of different ages.
